To prevent clogging of HPLC columns, a simple and versatile filtration process is essential. Captiva 0.2µm and 0.45µm filter plates are suitable for removing precipitated protein samples as a pre-treatment for LC/MS analysis. Captiva 10µm and 20µm glass fiber filter plates are designed to clarify samples containing a lot of particles, such as fresh frozen plasma and liver cells, thereby preventing issues with sample transfer caused by clogging of pipette tips.
